Nela Petrișor is a renowned legal practitioner and a highly respected authority in the field of law, with over 30 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation across all levels of jurisdiction within the Romanian judicial system.
For 27 years, she served as a magistrate, including 12 years as a judge at the High Court of Cassation and Justice – Second Civil Section (formerly the Commercial Section), where she also held a position as a member of the Management Board of the Supreme Court. Her judicial expertise is unmatched, having presided over and adjudicated tens of thousands of cases, acquiring a deep and comprehensive understanding of case law, procedural intricacies, and the nuances of civil and commercial disputes.
Nela Petrișor has contributed significantly to the professional development of the Romanian legal system, training successive generations of judges and court clerks. She has served as a Legal Trainer at the National Institute of Magistracy, specializing in Commercial Law – for both initial and continuing education programs – and at the National School of Court Clerks.
In addition, she serves as an arbitrator at the International Court of Commercial Arbitration under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania and as a conciliator at the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center for Banking Disputes.
